Our Kenyan Kids is pleased to announce a new initiative from our friends at Maitland Garden of Hope.
David Cybulski and Colleen O’Connell, owners of Maitland Garden of Hope in Maitland, Ontario, are planning on publishing a photo book of their gardens. They are inviting all photographers to contribute photographs taken at their gardens and encourage photos taken in the four seasons of the garden. As a result, we will extend the competition to include the spring of 2016. The competition will end on June 01, 2016.
All profits from the sale of the book will go to Our Kenyan Kids.
Selected photographs will be included in the book, plus the winning photograph will be the cover shot for the book. The photographer for all images selected will be acknowledged in the book. The cover-shot winner will also have a short bio published in the book.
All photos must be high-resolution digital and should be sent to polish@sympatico.ca including contact information about the contributor. We would appreciate receiving only the photos that the contributor feels could qualify for selection, rather than all of the photos taken in the shoot.
There will be no compensation other than recognition of the photographer in the book. The photographer will retain all rights to the photos, other than giving permission to publish in this photo book. Permission for publication is granted by the photographer by sending the photos via email to polish@sympatico.ca.
Images can be of the gardens, its vistas, plants or flowers as well as our natural visitors to the gardens (ie: butterflies, birds and other assorted wildlife).
